For getting admission to the B Tech in Aerospace Engineering course. You should have at least 60% marks in the PCM subjects in Class 12 board exams. You must give relevant entrance tests and get excellent marks in the same to get into the top colleges like the IITs and the NITs.
The next step is to fill out the college application forms before the registration window closes to ensure a smooth admission process. After the exam results are out and you've got your scorecard, you have to apply for the college counselling via the online college portal.

Getting into aerospace engineering schools through JoSAA counseling is extremely difficult if you scored in the 58th percentile on the JEE Main and 72% on the board exams. This is the reason:
Eligibility Requirements: Candidates must have at least 75% on their Class 12 board exams or rank in the top 20% of their respective boards in order to be admitted to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs through JoSAA. You don't meet this requirement with 72%.
Competitive Cutoffs: The field of aerospace engineering has the high cutoffs and is highly sought after. Admission is doubtful because a score in the 58th percentile on JEE Main is far higher than the usua
