M.Tech. (Research) in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2017

One of the best colleges we have ever seen.
Placements: 98 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 86 lakhs per annum, the lowest package is 28 lakhs per annum, and the average package is 55 lakhs per annum. The top recruiting companies for our courses are Myntra, Google, Microsoft, etc. 85 to 90 percent of students got internships in Microsoft, a company. The top roles offered in our course are machine learning and some hardware-export courses.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent, and the departments are well-designed. Wi-Fi facilities are available, and labs are provided, along with classrooms with Smart Boards and a library. Hostel facilities are good, providing food facilities in the mess, and medical facilities are available in emergency situations. They also provide sports and games to the students.
Faculty: The teachers are good, knowledgeable, and well-qualified, and they help us in learning new skills. Our course curriculum is relevant and makes us industry-ready. The semesters are very difficult, and the passing percentage is 45 percent of marks.

The best place for students to pursue research studies.
Placements: The placements were not the primary concern for many students in the college. Most of the students were interested in higher studies, but the trend is slightly changing. Many students are interested in working. Our department has bad placements. A few companies offered low salaries, so the students who got selected rejected the offers. The faculty members provide very little help, and the rest has to be done by the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is not up to the mark. Labs need to be well-maintained. The college has many departments, some of which have extremely well-maintained buildings. On the contrary, some departments have been in bad condition for a long time. I think all the buildings should be maintained in the same way without bias.
Faculty: The teachers are the best in their fields. Most of them have worked on very good projects and done good research. Their teaching quality is very good, and they focus more on the areas where research can be carried out.
Other: Fresher's party and fests are organised every year. People in the college are from many states. The management organises various festivals. The campus crowd is very friendly. Our campus is situated on the north side of the city, so the surrounding is very good. We have access to all the things. Scholarships are provided to every student.
