Due to its Salesian affiliation, ADBU places a strong emphasis on personal growth in addition to academics through workshops, extracurricular activities, and value-based instruction. Although it is not among the best universities, ADBU received a respectable ranking. Assam PAT 2025 application form was released on May 19, 2025 on official website. Last date to apply was June 7, 2025. Authorities will not accept any applications at this time.

Upon close inspection, I found that both of these colleges have excellent infrastructure, campus, facilities and both these college have a 90% (or higher) of placements in reputable companies. If you need a more specific comparison, take into consideration the distance you have to travel, the fee structure, and maybe the presence of language barriers etc. to choose the better option. The placement percentage and average salary range is close for both but the fees range is usually higher for SRCEM due to it being private institute.

The Institute of Hotel Management Guwahati (IHM Guwahati) has not released its 2023 placement statistics, but some of the top recruiters in the past years include Park Hyatt, Westin, Tommy Hilfiger, The Park Hotel, and others. The salary offered to the students ranges from Rs. 15,000-20,000 per month based on the hotel star. On the other hand, the Jaypee Business School does not have great record of the placements.

Every year, more than 2.5 Lacs students appear for Assam HS final examinations (Class 12th). Official data for the HS exam 2026 Assam will be released by the board along with the result. In the Assam HS result 2025, the overall pass percentage for class 12 exams was recorded at 79.26%.

NLU Assam CLAT cutoff 2026 is now out for all rounds regarding admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses. For the General AI category, the overall cutoff ranged from 1322 to 2049, with the LLM course and its various specialisations being the tougher courses for enrolment. 

On the other hand, for the General HS quota, the overall cutoff ranged from 1563  to 3519, with the LLM course and its branches also being the more competitive courses for this category. 

To know the cutoff for all other All India and Home State quota categories, students can refer to the NLU Assam CLAT cutoff page.
