At IIEST Shibpur, BArch admission is done based on the performance of the students in the accepted entrance exam and the availability of seats. Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in a relevant stream from any recognised board to be eligible. To get into Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College for a BArch course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. JNEC offers full-time BArch courses of five years' duration. Students can get into this course based on a valid NATA exam score. Apart from the selection criteria, students must pass Class 12 (common eligibility). 

To get into Periyar Maniammai University for a BArch course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the university. Students must pass Class 12 with a 50% aggregate. Periyar Maniammai Institute of Science and Technology offers full-time BArch courses of five years duration. Students can get into this course based on qualifying NATA (or) any other Aptitude test conducted by the Competent Authority of the State Government /UT.
