DU offers two B.Com courses, one is B.Com (Hons). And another one is B.Com Programme. First of all, I'm assuming that 80% is your best of fourscore, and not the overall score of all the five or six subjects because DU considers the best of four scores for the admission cutoffs. For B.Com (Hons). the chances of getting an admission in any college with 80% are almost negligible if you're a general category student. However, if you come from a different category, I believe you can get into a decent college with that score. For B.Com Programme, the cutoffs are usually lower than B.Com (Hons). By at least 24% for every college. So you have a better chance of getting into a regular college for the B.Com Programme than B.Com (Hons). if you're a general category student. However, if you come from a different category, although you'll get a college for B.Com (Hons) as well, you'll definitely get a much better college for B.Com Programme with that score because of the obvious reason of lower cutoffs for B.Com Programme.
