B.Des Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for MAH B.Des CET are:

• Must be an Indian national.

• Passed 10+2 or equivalent exam with at least 45% (40% for reserved categories).

• There is no age limit.

Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with English as a compulsory subject preferred to apply for BDes programme at ESEDS School of Design. Aspirants should have relevant documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

• Candidates must have completed or be appearing for their 10+2 examination from a recognised board.

• A minimum of 50% marks is generally required.

Yes, all candidates who have cleared Class 12 board exams are eligible to apply for BDes courses at INSD Kolkata.  Candidates who have cleared Class 12 with Arts stream are also eligible to apply for this course.

All students who have passed their Class 12 board exams from a recognised board are eligible for enrolment into the BDes course offered by INSD Kolkata. A candidate is eligible to apply for FDDI's B.Des programmes if they have:
a) Passed 10+2 in any stream from a recognised board; or
b) Passed an examination recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) as equivalent to 10+2 (Indian or foreign board); or
c) Passed the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with at least five subjects.
