The eligibility criteria for B.Des at ITM Institute of Design and Media, Andheri West is candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam from a PUC/ISC/CBSE-accredited board or an equivalent programme that has been recognised by the institution.
Once the candidate is eligibile, they can apply for the specific course and go through the selection process to get admission into the institute.

The selection to BDes courses is based on Pearl Academy Entrance Exam that, includes GPT- General Proficiency Test and DAT- Design Aptitude Test. The entrance exam is followed by a personal interview round and portfolio presentation.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur is a government institute established in 2008. It offers B.Des under four specializations they are-:
B.Des. (Fashion Design)
B.Des. (Textile Design)
B.Des. (Knitwear Design)
B.Des. (Fashion Communication)
The Basic Eligibility Criteria - 12th Pass. The candidate must have cleared 10+2 examination of any recognised board or he/she must have secured a passing grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.
And basic Admission Criteria is the NIFT Entrance test.

Any candidate who has cleared Class 12 in any stream with an aggregate of 50% can apply for BDes programme. However, the University conducts its own entrance exam for the final selection of students.

For NIFT Delhi B.Des admission, candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as Central Board of Secondary Education/ State Board New Delhi/ Council for Indian School of Certificate Examination, New Delhi. A passing grade in the Senior Secondary School examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects is also eligible to apply for the National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi.

Vivekananda Global University is situated in Jaipur. It's offers many courses, in various domains like designing courses etc.
B.Des is a good course in Vivekananda college. In class 12th, you have to score more than 50 percentage if you belongs to general category. Also, if you belong to SC/ST then you have to score more than 45 percentage. Vivekananda Global University for B.Des course take admission on basis of marks secured in Aptitude test & creativity test (DE- Code).

An individual to be eligible for the B.Des in Symbiosis International should be
- A pass in Class 12 or equivalent or Class 10 along with a three-year diploma
- at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) is required to apply for BDes course. Candidates who are appearing for the final year exam can also apply.

The candidates who wish take admisison in BDes courses have to appear and qualify the Banasthali University Aptitude Test and must have 50% aggregate in Senior Secondary 10+2 from any stream. Candidates who have 50% aggregate in Senior Secondary 10+2 from any stream have to apply for the Banasthali University Aptitude Test, appear for the exam and qualify the same. The merit list shall be drawn for admission purely based on merit.
