In order to get admission to BDes at UID Delhi-NCR, students are required to pass Class 12 or 3 year Diploma in any stream from any recognised higher secondary board/ institute. The selection is done based on the performance of candidates in the UID DAT exam and Situation Test & Portfolio evaluation, which is conducted in offline mode.

Cited below are the eligibility criteria for admission to the BDes course at INSD Kolkata:

  • The candidate must have passed class 12.
  • Candidates are required to apply either online or offline depending upon their convenience. INSD Kolkata inducts students based on their marks in class 12.

MIT Institute of Design offers three three-year BDes programme under eleven specialisation. Candidates who have passed class 12th from any stream (HSC, CBSE, ICSE, IB) are eligible for the BDes programme. Further, candidates are required to go through the two-phase admission procedure. The first phase is to pass the Institute-based entrance test i.e. MIT DAT (MIT Design Aptitude Test). The second phase revolves around personal interviews and studio tests.
