The eligibility criteria for B.Des at ITM Institute of Design and Media, Andheri West is candidate must have passed the 10+2 exam from a PUC/ISC/CBSE-accredited board or an equivalent programme that has been recognised by the institution.

The selection to BDes courses is based on Pearl Academy Entrance Exam that, includes GPT- General Proficiency Test and DAT- Design Aptitude Test. The entrance exam is followed by a personal interview round and portfolio presentation.

National Institute of Fashion Technology Kannur is a government institute established in 2008. It offers B.Des under four specializations they are-:

B.Des. (Fashion Design)

B.Des. (Textile Design)

B.Des. (Knitwear Design)

B.Des. (Fashion Communication)

The Basic Eligibility Criteria - 12th Pass. The candidate must have cleared 10+2 examination of any recognised board or he/she must have secured a passing grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects.

And basic Admission Criteria is the NIFT Entrance test.

Admission to NIFT Delhi for the UG level B.Des course requires candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised Central/State Board and to be under the age of 24 years ( 29 years for reserved category students). Admission to NIFT is merit as well as entrance based. NIFT requires the students to score valid marks in NIFT Entrance Exam which consists of Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT).
