Most students aspire to attend a reputable university. Finding a good college of your choice can be difficult, though, because there are far too few colleges in comparison to the number of students. The following are some tips for finding the top university in the field.
- The course is primarily appropriate for candidates who have completed mathematics, physics, and chemistry in their Class 12.
- The most significant test in this field is the NIFT entrance exam. The General Ability Test (GAT), administered nationally by NIFT, evaluates applicants' general aptitude for the program. It is crucial that the candidates perform well on this test.

A good NIFT score for BFTech is 100+ out of 150. If you score less than 100 in the NIFT entrance test, then the chance of you getting selected for the cut-off will decrease. As NIFTs has a very limited number of seats for BFTech courses. For instance, NIFT Delhi offers only 43 seats for BFTech program.

Candidates must first apply for the NIFT Entrance Exam to get admission to any of the NIFT branches in India. By the final week of October, test registration will be open.
The NIFT official website is where test applications must be submitted online.
In order to complete the online application, candidates must pay the required application fees using a credit card, debit card, or net banking connection.
Others may decide to pay by demand draft if they lack the online resources to pay the fees. In these situations, the demand draft and a printout of the online application form must be sent to the admission office.

In 2023, the General category minimum closing rank needed for admission to NIFT Hyderabad's Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.FTech) program was 64–279, depending on the category. This suggests a competitive admissions process, as candidates have to place within this range to guarantee a spot in the program. Future applicants should have this in mind while they study for the admission tests, as cutoff ranks can differ dramatically from year to year.
