Yes, admission to BFTech course at NIFT Bangalore is completely entrance-based. There is only one college in Chennai that offers B.Ftech. The college is the National Institute of Fashion Technology Chennai.

NIFT Chennai offers 4 years of B.FTech. in Apparel Production. There are 43 seats available for the course. 

To be eligible for the course a candidate must pass 10+2 with PCM as mandatory subjects. NIFT entrance exam is necessary. Selection will be based on the entrance exam and PI.

Candidate must have a maximum age of 24 years.

The fee for the course is INR 12.34 Lacs for the whole course.
