No, you cannot pursue BFTech course after completing Class 12 in Commerce stream. Only students who have completed Class 12 with Science stream can aplly for the course.
If you wish to pursue Design courses after schoolings, then you can apply for BDes course. It is a four-year bachelor's Design degree. You can also pursue BA and BSc with Design specialisations. These courses are open for students from all streams.

After earning a BFTech degree, yes, candidates can pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA). In fact, a lot of people do this since it equips them with a well-rounded education in management and technical abilities.

No, BFTech is not a degree in engineering. With a concentration on the technical facets of the apparel production industry, this degree is in fashion technology. Although some engineering topics, such as textile science and patternmaking, are included, a whole engineering education is not provided. Hence, candidates are encouraged to not be confused between the disciplines.

NIFT is a well known Design college in India for BFTech course. The fee structure at NIFT ranges from INR 5- 12 lakhs for the four-year course. However, the fee structure may vary depending on a lot of factors. The fee also varies for lateral entry and regular entry candidates.
Candidates need to pay the NIFT fee every semester for the course in which they have applied for admission. Students can see the below table for an idea of the fee structure:
