The participating institutes of NIFTs offer a 4-year B.FTech programme. Admission to the programme is based on GAT scores. The NIFT 2025 GAT question paper for the programme will be of 180 minutes and will be bilingual. Candidates will have the option to take the exam either in English or Hindi. The question type will be multiple-choice. The question paper will have a total of 150 questions. Hi.B.F.Tech. in Apparel Production at NIFT Patna is a 4 years course at the UG level. The course offers admission to 44 students. The total tuition fee for NIFT Patna B.F.Tech. in Apparel Production is INR 12.34 Lakh. Apart from the tuition fee, there is a one-time admission fee of amount INR 27,200, and a hostel fee of amount INR 63,400 that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee.

NIFT Hyderabad has not released the placement report for the year 2023. However, as per the annual report 2022, upto 10 top-notch companies visited/students placed during the online campus placement drive. According to the Shiksha review, the highest package offered to BDes in Fashion Design and BDes Accessory Design was INR 6 LPA and INR 20 LPA during the recent placement drive, respectively.
Average package for B. ftech and M. ftech goes around 4–4.5 Lpa.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai has not released the salary package for the year 2024. Altough, the the highest package offered for BDes Fashion Design was INR 6 LPA during the recent placement drive. NIFT Chennai students were offered various roles such as Associate Designer, Assistant Designer, Fashion Stylist and many more. The NIFT Chennai provide various internship and placement opportunities to their students that help them building their career.
