Hi Aman, A common misconception is B.Tech (engineering) is better than B.Sc. (pure Science), while a few confident students stick to B.Sc. As their career goals are clear. Some feel B.Tech is tough and they won't be able to perform up to the expected level, while others feel B.Sc. Is way too easy. The exposure you get in a B.Tech degree will help you in succeeding your life rather than the marks. No other course can give you a life experience rather than B.Tech. Learn about extra activities like Social marketing, startups, literature, poetries, arts while doing B.Tech. Trust me it's will be more productive than directly opting Arts/Science courses because you'll be using your technical mind which is capable of thinking out of the box and Taking life-changing risks.

Eligibility Criteria for SET 2019:
The aspirant must have cleared class 12th or equivalent examinations in relevant stream from a recognized board or university with minimum 50% marks ( 45% for SC/ST category students)
Candidates in class 12 or awaiting their 10+2 result are also eligible to apply but they will have to submit passing certificate by September 2018
A candidate who has completed XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)The following are the reservation rules that shall be followed while admitting Indian students:
Scheduled Caste: 15%Scheduled Tribe: 7.5%Differently abled students: 3%Armed Forces Dependants (Wards of Serving/Retired): 5%Kashmiri Migrants: 2 seats over and above the sanctioned intake.
