B.Tech in Pune

Admission to the IIAEIT for 2024 will shortly be available for a variety of B.Tech programs for all 12th grades students with diplomas and PCM, PCMB, or PCB. IIAEIT provides a four-year, full-time BTech programme in aerospace, aeronautical, or avionics engineering at the undergraduate level.

Candidates must pass the AERO-CET, MH-CET, or any other national or state-level engineering entrance exam to be admitted and complete class 12 with a passing grade of at least 50% in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.  To graduate from high school, students who did not select mathematics as a subject must take a bridging course at the university or at least 45% overall (40% overall for candidates in the reserved category) in the engineering and technology Diploma program. 

The Indian Institute for Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology has been a reputable name in aviation and aerospace education for the past 20 years and is situated in Pune. The first aviation institute in the western region of Maharashtra, India, offers highly challenging and specialised courses. The IIAEIT is a part of the Shashtri Group of Institutions, Pune. 

As per student reviews, they don't like the institute much as it is not recognised by an authorized board, and also the courses are correspondence. Furthermore, the placement opportunities at this institute are not favorable. Moreover, it depends on individual standards whether they want to join this institute or not.

Padmabhooshan Vasantdada Patil Institute of Technology, Pune has set a few eligibility criteria for the aspirants to meet before they apply for B.Tech or any other course.

The candidate must have got Physics and Mathematics as required courses, along with one of the following: Computer Science, IT, Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical Vocational Subjects, Agriculture, Engineering Graphics, or Business Studies. All of these subjects must have been completed with the 45% aggregate from any recognised Board or Council. Candidates from Maharashtra State are required to appear for the MHT-CET. All candidates from India must show up for the either MHT-CET or JEE Main. But JEE Main would be given precedence over MHT-CET.
