Subjects are same for all departments in 1st year. Basic Physics Maths Chemistry Engineering Drawing, Basic Programing language, English Mechanical Workshop, Basic Electrical and Electronics.

Hi Ritesh, HBTI is best college of UPTU for mechanical engineering. It is one of the best college in india. Few other good colleges of UPTU for mechanical engineering are provided below-
1) IET Lucknow
2) IERT Allahabad
3) KNIT Sultanpur.

Hi Keshav Kumar, Diploma students can apply for lateral admission in B.Tech, only if they have all the marksheets of Diploma with pass in all subjects with minimum 60% marks. For B.Tech Computer Science Engineering, requirement is pass in all subjects with minimum 70% marks.

For admission, Candidates should pass the 10+2 board exam with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) or equivalent AICTE approved 3-years engineering Diploma in any stream or any higher qualification in Science with Physics and Mathematics at the time of admission.
