Candidates must earn at least 50% of the possible points (45% for restricted categories) in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology in their 10+2 exam. They have to be eligible for Anna University's TNEA 2025 counseling. As an alternative, lateral admission is possible with a Diploma in Engineering or Technology with 45% of the possible points (or 40% for protected categories). Merit-based admission is determined by TNEA ranks.

Sinhgad College of Engineering (SCOE), Pune In 2023, the cutoff for Mechanical Engineering was just 33.24, and for Civil Engineering, it was as low as 13.31 for the open category . Other branches like Biotechnology had cutoffs around the high 30s (39.78). Great if you're looking for runs close to or below 45.

To study at TINT, you need to have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, securing at least forty-five percent aggregate marks. Admission is based on West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) score or merit in Class 12. There's also an institute-level quota for students who perform well academically or through state board results. TINT values both exam performance and consistent school results it looks for dedication to your field, not just test ranks.
