Q:   Does Pranveer Singh Institute of Technology refund fees?

The admission fees is refundable. One must submit a written application for the same. Documents will be sent immediately, but the procedure of reimbursing the money for the hostel and college will take some time.

The total tuition fee details for PSIT Bachelors of Computer Applications (BCA) is 2.40 Lakh.  And the hostel fee of amount INR 2.40 Lacs that students are required to pay in addition to the tuition fee. The total tuition fee for BTech. in Computer Science and Engineering is 2.45 Lakh.

Satisfied according to the placement scenario and infrastructure.
Placements: 45 percent of the college students are placed last year. The highest package is 66 LPA, the lowest package is 4 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA. Top roles offered are Software Engineer, Web Developer, Front End or Backed Developed etc. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys etc.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure and facilities the classrooms and overall labs and academic place are satisfactory. The facilities in the hostel are not worth it except for the food they provide. The rules and regulations lead to unbearable circumstances and hence, overall we will rate on a scale of 10 as 5.
Faculty: Teachers are very active and helpful in all ways. They teach really well concepts are clear inside the academic timings only. Students can also clear out their doubts after college hours by contacting their respective faculty members. The semester exams conducted by the university are not easy and hence many students fail.

Average placement but better than other private colleges.
Placements: Approximately 50 to 60% of students get placement every year. The average placement is about 5 to 6 LPA, and the highest package is 64 LPA (off-campus). Over 15 to 20 companies are recruiting every year, and companies include TURING (on-campus), TCS, INFOEDGE, Infosys, HCL, Tech Mahindra, JP Morgan, etc. Many other startups recruit every year.
Infrastructure: The college has very good infrastructure and hostel facilities, but management is very strict, and fines are normal in college. Food quality is average, Only vegetarian food is available in the mess, but you can order from outside the campus with your money, and you can eat. A medical facility is also available.
Faculty: It follows the AKTU curriculum until 2024, and after that, it will become autonomous from 2025 and follow its own curriculum. Here, teachers are average, like in other private colleges. Exams are very frequent in this college; every semester, there are two CTs, four ATs, and one PU.

Absolutely dissatisfied with 90 percent attendance and a fine curriculum.
Placements: The highest package offered is 51 LPA, with Amazon reported as the top recruiter backing that offer, while the lowest on-campus package typically ranges around 3-4 LPA in core IT and software roles like TCS and Wipro. The average package for the B.Tech cohort was around 6.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is decent as AC classrooms are provided, and a library facility is also available. The quality of food is good, but there is less variety. The campus crowd is diverse, and the curriculum also includes hands-on projects, industry tools, and real-world case studies.
Faculty: Most students feel that faculty are generally helpful and qualified, and the curriculum is mostly relevant with practical emphasis. However, actual industry readiness depends on the students' effort. Semester exams are moderate to tough, with a high pass percentage for those who consistently prepare.
Other: PSIT offers a well-maintained infrastructure with good campus and hostel facilities, libraries, and sports facilities.

Faculty is very good, and the infrastructure is really good.
Placements: Our college has the lowest placement of 3 LPA and the highest package of 66 LPA. Almost all students get placement. Top companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Amazon (Support/Tech roles, limited offers), Byju's, IBM, and Deloitte (select roles).
Infrastructure: There is a broad class, so high-speed internet is available. Labs and classrooms are very clean, which creates a good environment to study. There are sports events at regular intervals. Library facilities are amazing. They provide a very quiet environment for better focus.
Faculty: Teachers are definitely very qualified and very helpful in clearing our doubts. They are also knowledgeable. There are many training classes to make us industry-ready. The semester exam is quite difficult. The pass percentage is 33% in internal and external exams.
Other: There are wide opportunities in this course. There are two big events every year. The campus environment is healthy.

The infrastructure is good, and it is safe to live in the hostel.
Placements: Above 90% of students get placed in the last batch. The average package is 3–4 LPA, and 7 LPA is the highest package. Accenture and TCS are the top recruiters. Many students get internships in Coforge. Approximately 50 students get PPO from this company this month.
Infrastructure: A LAN cable is used to access the internet. It is very disappointing for me as it is too old technology compared to today’s fast-moving world. It should be replaced with Wi-Fi. Labs are above average compared to other colleges. Library books should be updated according to the time.
Faculty: Compared to other colleges in Kanpur, a few teachers are good enough, but in the end, you are the one who has to work for your betterment. Some study materials are not good enough to make students industry-ready. It is affiliated with Kanpur University. One week of serious study before exams is enough to score decent marks.
Other: The attendance policy should be changed from 90% to 75%.

Overall, the college is doing great.
Placements: Most of them get placed. TCS, Infosys, Coforge, and Capgemini are the companies that visit our college. The placement cell helps students choose the correct path toward getting placed and having a bright future. So they can make their parents and faculty members proud.
Infrastructure: It is quite vast and has all facilities we need. There is cleanliness as well as plants. Sanitation areas are well-maintained. Labs are quite peaceful and managed. The infrastructure is just great. There are cafeterias, parking areas, open and closed gyms for both boys and girls, and a great mess as well.
Faculty: Teachers here are very understanding. They are cooperative and supportive. They always guide in a proper manner. It makes us aware of cutting-edge technologies. They also have training sessions, and their efforts, teaching, and guidance are much more beneficial.
