For admission to the UG/PG courses of Jnana Vikas Institute of Technology (JVIT), the candidates needed to fulfil the eligibility criteria only. UG (B.E): 50% marks in 10+2 (Physics, Chemistry Mathematics) for the general category, 10% for SC/ST/OBC. Entrance exams: For KCET there is an 85% percentile while for COMEDK/JEE Main there is only a 15% percentile. Lateral entry: Diploma (50% aggregate). The UG and PG courses are offered by the City Engineering College (CEC), Bangalore. Eligibility criteria: UG – minimum 45 % in 10+2 (PCM) for general category, 40% for SC/ST/OBC; KCET- 85% of seats, COMEDK- 15% of seats, JEE Main – all India entrance examination. For admission into the Hirasugar Institute of Technology (HSIT) to do the UG programmes like B.Tech one needs to have 45% in their 10+2 (PCM) and clear the KCET or COMEDK examination. For PG courses like M.Tech Requirement is B.Tech/BE with a minimum of 50% Marks, and qualifying in PGCET/GATE is mandatory. The seats are allotted depending on the performance in the entrance test conducted and then the counselling session.

To enter SJMIT for UG courses like B.Tech, The candidate should secure at least 45 % in 10+2 (PCB &/or PCM); pass in kivet or comed-k exams. For PG courses like M.Tech, any candidate with BE/B.Tech degree with a 50% mark needs to qualify PGCET or GATE. Admission to this college is based on the entrance exam that students take and by counselling for seat availabilities.

UG Admission in SJCIT require 45 % marks in 10+2 exam for general candidates and 40 % for SC/ST/OBC candidates with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry/ Biotechnology/Biology. This college provides admission through KCET/COMEDK score cards for complete four year full time degree program. For PG courses, candidate must have the bachelor's degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) and valid PGCET/ GATE/CMAT scores. For the UG and PG courses there is the provision to admit under management quota directly.

For admission to the UG courses in SIETK, one has to clear the EAMCET every year and must have 45% marks in class XII with PCM conducted by the Govt of Andhra Pradesh for the reserved category 40%. For taking admission in PG courses like M.Tech or MBA ( Various Courses), the minimum qualification required is the obtained percentage in the bachelor's degree as 50% marks for open category students and 45% for the students belonging to reserved category and also the qualified marks for GATE/PGECET/AP ICET (For MBA) examination will be mandatory. All admissions are merit based as per state government scheduled norms.
