Alumni of the BCET are placed in most renowned sectors. Students have also been recruited in some of the top companies from IT to engineering, manufacturing, consulting, and financial services sectors. Most of the students were recruited in the TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, L&T, and Axis Bank. Getting into Bengal College of Engineering and Technology, BCET is relatively tough, especially for more sought-after branches like Computer Science and Engineering. Admission would strictly depend on entrance exam marks that would be JEE Main or WBJEE marks. The cutoffs determine who gets eligible. Most people get a seat if their rankings are higher. BCET provides direct admission on merit to those who do not appear for entrance examinations. The number of seats available under this category is limited. So, it again depends upon the course or programme and seat availability

Scholarships are typically merit-based, entrance scores (such as WBJEE or JEE Main), and financial need-based. Partial scholarships may also be available for some students. Yes, you can get admission to Bengal College of Engineering and Technology B.E. / B.Tech without the WBJEE exam. To be eligible for the course, the candidate must have a minimum of 50% marks in Class 12th in a relevant stream. Eligible candidates will also have to appear for the JEE Main exam (if not appearing for the WBJEE exam) and score valid marks to secure admission to the course.
