You may or may not get because you told your GPA. Apply and wait upto 3rd counselling. You may get by chance. All statistics won't be right all the times if you score more marks in +2 than GPA.

It's based on how many students applied for that branch and college. Possibly for getting is 50:50 as your JEE Main score is less. If you are From Tamil Nadu you can apply for stream 2 it maybe possible to get seat in bioinformatics.

You can apply for stream 2 which is totally based on +2 marks. There is less competition for bio informatics in stream 2 sector.

Candidates securing a rank between 7500- 27500 will be eligible for admissions in Vellore campus. The closing rank for Computer Science and Engineering (with Bioinformatics as specialization) went up till 7500 while for Computer Science and Engineering, it went up till 15000.
