Yes, it is possible to change stream from BA 1st year to B.Sc (Hons) biotechnology from Jammu University to University of Delhi.

For this, you'll need to apply for admission to the B.Sc. (Hons) Biotechnology programme at Delhi University, but you may have to start from 1st year after migration.

For biotechnology, you can choose the core subjects of science:

  1. Physics
  2. Chemisty
  3. Biology

Other than this, you can choose english, which is also important.

For more, you can go with biochemistry also.

For a B.Sc. in Biotechnology in Himachal Pradesh, Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) in Solan and Shoolini University in Solan are the best options 

  1. JUIT is ranked as top universities in India for biotechnology 
  2. Shoolini university is also considered as a good option in Himachal Pradesh 

Some other colleges are

  • Akal College of Agriculture, Sirmour
  • Government college, dharmshala 
  • Rajkiya Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Shimla 
  • St Bedes College, Shimla

Start referring to biology, Chemistry 1st PUC, 2nd PUC textbook. And also all text books like microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry of degree programme bioscience as it includes everything in it.

Yes u are. Bt if your doing your UG programme it is not that necessary of doing 6 month Intenship. Its fine if your doing pt programme . For UG 60 hrs is more than enough
