There are five main branches of biotechnology based on the application.
1. Plant Biotechnology,
2. Animal Biotechnology,
3. Medical Biotechnology,
4. Environmental Biotechnology and
5. Industrial Biotechnology.
These five branches are good on their own.
According to your interest area, choose the desired branch.

If you want to do B.Pharma, you can do it. You are eligible for this course. But, if you have already completed your graduation, then it is better to complete your qualification in Management.

If you have chosen PCB in XIIth, then you can option for Bachelors degree like the B.Sc Biotechnology/ B.Sc Industrial biotechnology or B.Sc Medical biotechnology. Or if you have chosen PCMB, then you are eligible to pursue Engineering as Maths is an necessary subject for B.Tech Biotechnology / Environmental Biotechnology / Industrial Biotechnology / Medical biotechnology.
For pursuing B.Sc Biotechnology, you must qualify the entrance exam conducted by the Colleges. Here are the few :-
* Christ university Bangalore
* Jawaharlal Nehru University
* St Josephs college Bangalore
