A person who is a graduate in the field of medicine or engineering is eligible for this course. Although a person with some work experience (at least 24 months) with research in this field are always more preferable.

If you want to pursue M.Sc biotechnology, you can apply for IIT JAM exam which is conducted by IITs to offer admission at IITs for M.Sc courses and M.Sc- PhD dual degree also.
To appear in JAM exam you should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in graduation.
