In 2023, the cut off was 12820 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Chemical Engineering at IIT Jodhpur - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 16132 was the closing rank. BTech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

MNNIT Allahabad BTech admission is based on JEE Main scores. Students need to be Class 12 passed with a 75% aggregate from a recognised university. MNNIT Allahabad releases its opening and closing rank for admissions after the JEE Main results. The seat allotment is further based on JoSAA Counselling. In case seats are left vacant after JoSAA, then seats are filled through CSAB counselling.
