Due to your poor grades in maths and science, chances are less that you will be allowed to pursue CS. You can check with the universities directly and find out if you can be eligible for bridge courses or any pre-requisite courses in maths. Also please don't assume things like you won't get the visa. You must firstly apply to a college and receive the admission offer from the college in Canada after which you can apply for the student visa. Your visa decision will depend on your overall application package, SOP, LOR, motivation behind studying etc.

Typically, backlogs are not recommended and there is no criteria as such. These information and requirements are also specific to an university. If you have backlogs write to the university before applying.

You may opt for further studies in mechanical engineering or look for specialised areas like robotics, automobiles, manufacturing, transport and automotive design, management, engineering management etc. But firstly you need to know your own interests, what you want to study is a personal choice depending on one's interest and career plans.

You must take your IELTS, an overall score of 6.5 with no section less than 6 is recommended for PG courses. Other requirements will depend on the specific program you want to study and the university. If you have a first class chances are good.
