No, you won't face any problem in that but there are chances that your chances for appearing for the test will reduce that is in UPSC for the general candidate there are 5 chances to apply in that your 2 chances might be reduced.

If you want to do B.Tech, remember that apart from class 12th, you must do the entrance exam too. If B.Tech is based on your interest, you can choose popular branches like computer Science, information Science and electronics and communication, telecommunication. Alternately, instrumentation, electrical, mechanical, IEM are other trending fields with diverse opportunities.

In order to follow in line, take up Bachelor of engineering in electronics and communication or telecommunication; other branches like computer Science, information Science, instrumentation, electrical etc. are also open. You could do Bachelor of Science in electronics too alternately.

It really depends on your interest whether you want to pursue arts, Science or commerce. Engineering and IT related fields have always been in scope. For example, Bachelors of Science in IT and computer Science, Bachelor of computer applications can be chosen apart from engineering which in itself has diverse branches. However, if your interest lies in arts or commerce, do pursue it because talent and skill sets matter in making a career successful.

Engineering in computer Science or information Science or Bachelor of Science in IT and computer Science can help you land a good job offer as there are plenty of opportunities in this field. It is vast and trending like always. If you are more inclined towards medical line, then perhaps a Bachelors in physiotherapy could be a good choice. You may do Bachelors of Science alternately in specializations like physics, botany, zoology, biotechnology, food technology etc.

Depending on your interest and skill sets and based on your course of study in class 11th and class 12th, choose the subjects and specialization in degree programs. You can spend time talking to yourself and trusted mentors. For instance, Sciences: Engineering, medicine, Bachelor of Science in various specializations etc. Arts: languages, psychology, media and journalism, history and geography etc. Commerce: Accounting, investment banking, considering qualifications like ICWA and CA
