Out of the maximum CAT marks, the CAT 100 percentile score ranged from 70 to 90 percentage score. A candidate has to have scored 140 to 180 points in the CAT to be in the 100 percentile. For admission to IIM Ahmedabad, however, the qualifying CAT cutoff percentile is 80 for general applicants, 75 for NC-OBC/EWS, 70 for SC/PwD, and 60 for ST candidates. For the general category, the final CAT cut-off percentile is often between 99 and 100, and for the reserved category, it is 95.

Regardless of the time slot in which they took the test, all candidates usually receive their CAT (Common Admission Test) results on the same day. On a designated date, the conducting authority makes the results available, and all candidates can view them simultaneously. As a result, if you took the CAT exam during the second slot, your results should be released on the same day as those of the first slot. For updates on result announcements, keep a watch on the official CAT website or correspondence from the conducting body.Stay tuned with Shiksha for follow up updates.
