For the most part, entrance-based admissions are used for SRM Degree and PG College Karimnagar admissions, while the rest of courses are determined by merit in the qualifying test. Applicants must take the Integrated Common Entrance Test (APICET) in order to be considered for admission to MCA and MBA degrees. CAT results could be accepted as well. Merit-based admission to the remaining postgraduate degrees is determined by the qualifying exam results. Out of the maximum CAT marks, the CAT 100 percentile score ranged from 70 to 90 percentage score. A candidate has to have scored 140 to 180 points in the CAT to be in the 100 percentile. You stand a high probability of being admitted to IIM Ahmedabad if your CAT result was 100 percent. However, it is not a given that you will succeed in it. For admission to IIM Ahmedabad, however, the qualifying CAT cutoff percentile is 80 for general applicants, 75 for NC-OBC/EWS, 70 for SC/PwD, and 60 for ST candidates. For the general category, the final CAT cut-off percentile is often between 99 and 100, and for the reserved category, it is 95.
