IIM Mumbai MBA course admission is made based on students' performance in the CAT. Following is a guide for IIM Mumbai Admission:

Candidates seeking admission can register at https://iimmumbai.ac.in/ after the CAT registration process. Candidates can check out the application process for CAT from here: CAT registration. In general, while registering for CAT, candidates must apply for an MBA at IIM Mumbai by selecting the option available in the online registration form. The application fee for CAT (General/OBC category) is INR 2,400. There is an additional IIM Mumbai MBA application fee for general candidates INR 2000, for SC/ST/PwD INR 1000/-

1.1: Visit the website of IIM Mumbai at https://iimmumbai.ac.in/. On its homepage, click on ‘Programs’ A drop-down menu opens up.

1.2: Click on the desired programme and further click on ‘Application Process’ against the pop-up that appears against the selected course.

1.3: Read the given instructions carefully and click on ‘Admission Portal’. The application form opens up.

1.4: Fill out the application form carefully. Candidates applying for the Fellow programme need to additionally submit a 1,500-word research proposal.

1.5: Pay the application fee in online mode using payment gateway through debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

Shortlisting for IIM Mumbai Admission Test, Writing Skills Test and PI

After the announcement of CAT results, IIM Mumbai shortlists students based on their performance in CAT. Shortlisting is generally carried out in two stages.

WST & PI Round

Shortlisted students are then required to appear for a writing skills test and a PI.

Final Selection

After the rounds, IIM Mumbai makes admission offers to successful candidates. These offers are based on factors including CAT score, Writing Skill Test & PI performance, academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular achievements, work experience, etc.

The total tuition fee for MBA at IIM Mumbai is INR 14 lakh. The amount is from the official website/sanctioning body and may change.

IIM Mumbai provides various scholarship schemes based on merit and financial needs. Details of IIM Mumbai Scholarships are listed below:

• GATE-qualified candidates receive a Teaching Assistantship (currently INR 12400/ month) and contingency expenditure according to rules.
• Central Sector Scholarship is granted to SC/ST candidates based on the terms and conditions of the Indian government's scheme.
• Students with a total family income of less than INR 2.50 lakh in the previous financial year are eligible for a 30% tuition fee waiver when entering the postgraduate programme.
• 50% waiver of tuition fee: Any student entering the postgraduate programme whose total family income does not exceed INR 1 lakh in the last financial year shall be eligible for this scholarship
