For CAT 2024, the Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIM Indore) has set distinct cutoff percentiles for several categories:
- 90 percentile for General and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).
- 80 percentile for Non-Creamy Layer Other Backward Classes (NC-OBC)
- 60 percentile for Scheduled Castes (SC)
- 45 percentile for persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Scheduled Tribes (ST)
For candidates to be eligible for the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI), the next steps in the selection process must meet these cutoffs, which are the minimal CAT percentiles.

ASBM Pune considers a 50% of minimum aggregate in graduation along with valid scores in accepted exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT and other equivalent exams. Candidates must analyse the accurate cutoff stats to learn about the eligibility criteria. Candidates can visit the Institute or can visit the official website to learn about the same. ASBM Pune has not yet delivered any cutoff stats as of yet. The same reflect here, once out.

It is difficult but not impossible. If you give yourself a good enough time to improve English comprehension, grammar and vocabulary, you will be able to do it. Yes, a non- English medium student will require longer time for CAT preparation as they will have to start reading and improving English comprehension. So, may be they need to start English preparation for CAT in the second year of graduation, instead of final year (much earlier than English medium students). They may also need two attempts to crack CAT with high percentile. But that's not true for all. If you work hard and study smartly, you will be able to crack it.
