I think you should take clinical psychology, because that will help you in becoming a therapist. Applied psychology is more about learning how to apply psychological theories. If you do clinical psychology, you can treat mental disorders (not like a psychiatrist) which applied psychology won't allow

As far as the university course is recognized by the rehabilitation council of India it is good. This rank average in all the colleges according to UGC ranking,so you must go for it, getting admission there.
