Yes, According to the latest information, Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) India Examination Scorecard is mandatory to take admission in Central University Of Kashmir in MBA Degree AdmissIon.

After the declaration of CMAT result, Central University of Kashmir would issue the formal admission notice. Final admission would be based on the candidates’ overall performance in CMAT and GD or PI.
Admission Criteria: 50% CMAT Score + 50% GD/PI
Eligibility: Graduation with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA ( 45% for reserved category ). Final year students awaiting result can also apply for CMAT 2024 but their result must be clear before GD or PI. 

CMAT registration starts February /March (Tentatively) Every Year.
CMAT Exam - April (Tentatively) in Every Year.

CMAT application fee is INR 2,000 for male candidates belonging to General category. For women candidates, the fee is INR 1,000. For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe male candidates, the fees is INR 1,000 and for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe women and transgender candidates, it is INR 1,000. For Persons with Disability category candidates too, the CMAT application fee is INR 1,000. The fee can be paid in online mode only, through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI wallets. The fee is to be paid at the time of application form submission. Until the fee payment is done successfully, the application form will remain pending for submission. The CMAT fee is non-refundable and no-transferrable. Thus, candidates must make sure that the fee payment transaction is completed successfully and they receive the acknowledgement in email. If the fee payment is not done until the last date of form submission, the form will not get submitted and the candidate will not be able to appear for the exam.

There is no minimum score percentage criteria in graduation for CMAT exam. Only passing marks is required. The national level entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency for the AICTE. The role of NTA starts from framing exam pattern to registrations and ends with result announcement. After that, MBA colleges which accept CMAT score for shortlisting students start the selection process. There are about 1,300 MBA colleges in India which accept CMAT score for admission. All these colleges conduct admissions individually which includes, shortlisting of students on the basis of CMAT score, conduct of group discussion, written ability test and Personal Interview and final selection based on certain parameters. Some common parameters for admission through CMAT include:
1. CMAT score
2. Class 10 and 12 scores
3. Graduation scores
4. Performance in group discussion and personal interview
5. Work experience (if any)
Final selection of candidates is based on these parameters. The admission cycle and application schedule of the CMAT accepting colleges can be different so aspirants are required to check admission related notification of the colleges regularly.
