CMAT

There is no minimum score percentage criteria in graduation for CMAT exam. Only passing marks is required. The national level entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency for the AICTE. The role of NTA starts from framing exam pattern to registrations and ends with result announcement. After that, MBA colleges which accept CMAT score for shortlisting students start the selection process. There are about 1,300 MBA colleges in India which accept CMAT score for admission. All these colleges conduct admissions individually which includes, shortlisting of students on the basis of CMAT score, conduct of group discussion, written ability test and Personal Interview and final selection based on certain parameters. Some common parameters for admission through CMAT include:
1. CMAT score
2. Class 10 and 12 scores
3. Graduation scores
4. Performance in group discussion and personal interview
5. Work experience (if any)
Final selection of candidates is based on these parameters. The admission cycle and application schedule of the CMAT accepting colleges can be different so aspirants are required to check admission related notification of the colleges regularly.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) offers the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT), a business aptitude exam, to help with admission to MBA and PGDM programmes. Approximately 1,300 private and public B-schools in India, including Great Lakes Institute of Management, JBIMS, SIMSREE, K J Somaiya Mumbai, Welingkar Mumbai, and PUMBA, have acknowledged it. The CMAT 2024 is likely to be scheduled around April or May of 2024. The CMAT 2024 exam date is anticipated to be revealed by NTA around the last week of January 2024, with registration opening in February of the same year. A wide variety of private and public colleges accept the CMAT because it is a moderately demanding exam. 

A 70% on the CMAT is a decent result that can still put you in the running for admission to Genesis Business School programmes, especially if you have other strong points in your application. However, it may not be enough to get you into every programme. The Genesis Business School's admission requirements and cutoff scores might fluctuate considerably throughout programmes.A higher CMAT score may be required for admission to some programmes, making them more competitive than others.

Your application consists of more than just your CMAT score. Even with a 70% score, you can still boost your chances considerably with strong academic performance, professional experience (if applicable), extracurricular activities, and a well-written personal statement. It's possible that your cut-off score will be lower for restricted categories like SC, ST, OBC, or PwD than for the general category.Depending on the applicant pool and programme competition, cutoff scores may change from year to year.
