CMAT

CMAT application fee is INR 2,000 for male candidates belonging to General category. For women candidates, the fee is INR 1,000. For Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe male candidates, the fees is INR 1,000 and for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe women and transgender candidates, it is INR 1,000. For Persons with Disability category candidates too, the CMAT application fee is INR 1,000. The fee can be paid in online mode only, through debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI wallets. The fee is to be paid at the time of application form submission. Until the fee payment is done successfully, the application form will remain pending for submission. The CMAT fee is non-refundable and no-transferrable. Thus, candidates must make sure that the fee payment transaction is completed successfully and they receive the acknowledgement in email. If the fee payment is not done until the last date of form submission, the form will not get submitted and the candidate will not be able to appear for the exam.

It might not be easy to get into the College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) with a 70% Common Management Aptitude Test (CMAT) score because CET mainly offers undergraduate engineering and technology degrees. The CMAT is a nationally recognised admission test for management schools. Although it could indicate your ability for management studies, it has no bearing on your eligibility for CET's engineering programs.

With a CMAT score of 70%, there isn't a direct admissions route into CET's engineering programs; nevertheless, you might want to look into other choices, such management programs at CET or other universities, or getting a management degree and applying to engineering programs later.

There is no minimum score percentage criteria in graduation for CMAT exam. Only passing marks is required. The national level entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency for the AICTE. The role of NTA starts from framing exam pattern to registrations and ends with result announcement. After that, MBA colleges which accept CMAT score for shortlisting students start the selection process. There are about 1,300 MBA colleges in India which accept CMAT score for admission. All these colleges conduct admissions individually which includes, shortlisting of students on the basis of CMAT score, conduct of group discussion, written ability test and Personal Interview and final selection based on certain parameters. Some common parameters for admission through CMAT include:

2. Class 10 and 12 scores
3. Graduation scores
4. Performance in group discussion and personal interview
5. Work experience (if any)
Final selection of candidates is based on these parameters. The admission cycle and application schedule of the CMAT accepting colleges can be different so aspirants are required to check admission related notification of the colleges regularly.
