Because it varies depending on the course, it's best to specify the course. In general, general category students need45 % in most courses, while 50 % is the criteria in some courses. Furthermore, the percentage is not the only criteria for admission.

Hello Purnima,
To be admitted to Kaziranga University's BSc chemistry programme, you must have 50 percent aggregate marks in HS science (45 percent in the case of SC/ST students) from an accredited board. You can get admission if you scored 88 percent in the science stream.
