As per the data collated from the official website, Gauhati University MBA admission is completely entrance-based. Students seeking admission must are either required to go through the university-level entrance test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds or those with a valid score (75 percentile and above) in national-level entrances, such as MAT, CAT, XAT, CMAT can directly appear for GD and PI rounds for final admission. Any information on direct admission is not available in the online brochures. However, students are advised to reach out to the admission office for any details on the same.

Yes, Gauhati University offers a two-year MBA programme across four specialisations, namely Marketing, Finance, HR, Production. Spread over four semesters, admissions to MBA at GU starts in the month of March and the final shortlist is released in the months of May-June. The course is inclusive of a 60-day internship/ in-plant training for them to learn the basics of solving real life problems in business/ industrial organisations.
