On the other hand, the National Law University, Delhi (NLU) has consistently secured a high rank in the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), holding the second position for three consecutive years. NLU Delhi has earned an A grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is duly approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). National Law Universities (NLUs), including NLU Delhi, are government-established institutions supervised by the Bar Council of India, enjoying a reputation equivalent to that of esteemed institutions like IIMs and IITs in the realm of law.

NLU Delhi's LLM programme stands out with a noteworthy placement record. For the 2019 batch, the university offered a competitive package of 15 LPAs. The range of packages showcases the diversity of opportunities available to graduates, with the highest package reaching around 20 LPA, the lowest around 4.5 LPA, and the average standing at around 7 LPA.
