Yes, it is good enough to take admission in Jorhat Engineering College but carefully doing your counselling because it affects a lot.

As you have secured 1842 rank in CEE in general category, you will definitely get a good college. Yes, you will get JEC college. You should apply for this college and participate in counselling.
