Yes, Madras Institute os Technology is a very good college. Madras Institute of Technology, established in the year 1949 is a private institution located in Chennai. It is populary known as MIT Chennai. The institute was founded by Chinnaswamy Rajam as the first self-financing engineering institute. It is one of the four autonomous constituent colleges of Anna University which has received AICTE recognition and has been accredited by the NBA and NAAC with Grade 'A'.

The fee structure is different for different courses based on the stream and duration of the courses. Additional on fees like that of hostels can also be included in the yearly fee structure if one opts for it. Once the admission cycle starts for any course, the college will give all the information about the fee structure on its official page.

Once the application process is completed, the college checks each form. Students need to upload the correct documents and fill the correct details for their forms to be accepted. After this the college releases the cutoff list. Students falling in the list can proceed for further process of admissions.

Filling the application form is the first & important step for taking admissions at MIT. The application fee needs to be paid at the last step of the form. The fee is different for different streams, years and categories. This application fee is not generally refundable. Once students have paid the application fee they cannot ask for refund even if they don't want to move further with the application process.
