That's a fantastic question! As a BiPC (Biology, Physics, Chemistry) student, you have a wealth of options at IISER Bangalore and IIT Madras. At IISER Bangalore, you can pursue a five-year BS-MS dual degree program, where you can major in Biology, Chemistry, or Earth and Environmental Sciences. At IIT Madras, you can apply for the four-year B.S. degree in Biological Sciences. These are excellent choices for a student with a BiPC background, offering a strong foundation in Science with opportunities for interdisciplinary studies and research.

With 97 percentile in JEE Mains your rank would be between 30,000 to 35,000 which are very good rank you may get good NITs with Computer Science Engineering branch in NITs like NIT Patna, NIT Trichy, NIt Bhopal. Also you can get admission to IIITs like Bhagalpur, Ranchi and IIIT Nagpur. There are some good private college in Chennai where you can get admission including SRM Institute of Science and Technology, VIT (Vellore or Chennai campus), and other private engineering colleges.

In terms of rankings, placements, and academic reputation, VIT is generally thought better than SRM and KIIT. It also has good infrastructure, diverse groups of fellow students, and better placement, especially in CSE and IT, after which comes SRM, which is good in terms of industry exposure, and lastly KIIT, which tends to be preferred in region and has been recording consistent growth.

With rank 17,845 in VITEEE, you have got an awesome chance of getting the CSE branch at VIT Chennai.
Many college students with comparable ranks were given CSE there.
So, sure — you can assume admission, however the charges can be slightly higher in those categories.

The chances are decent to get into SRMIST in CSE specialization or a bit lower branches, but the cutoffs are subject to change every year. Since the institute offers around 7k seats in total, with a rank of around 3-4k you have fair chances.
