It has good faculty and infrastructure, but it is bad for placements.
Placements: Placement for the M.Tech students was very limited in this college. Only 10 to 20 students got placement over a year. The heights package was 10 LPA, and the average package was 3.5 LPA. No students got a company internship from this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was very bad because it was old. There were sufficient classrooms, labs, and Wi-Fi facilities available. The quality of classrooms and the canteen was average. The food was also average. I have not faced any infrastructure issues during my M.Tech in graduation.
Faculty: Faculty members were the best in the college, and most of them have completed their PhD. They had a great bundle of knowledge. They helped students with their labs and projects. Lab faculty are skilled, and all the lab trainers are very helpful. The semester exams are not too difficult.

Good faculty and infrastructure but I am not satisfied with placements.
Placements: The top 200 students were placed in our course. The top recruiting companies were IBM India, Infosys, Wipro, and TCS. The top offers in our course were security analyst, cybersecurity architecture, and leadership, etc. The highest package offered was 10 LPA and the average package offered was 5 to 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college campus was very big compared to the other nearest to us. This provides lots of facilities like Wi-Fi, practical labs, smart classrooms, central library, cybersecurity and hacking labs, etc. The quality of the hostel and mess was manageable. The canteen was very good.
Faculty: Most teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They have high-quality teaching. Most teachers were here with their M.Tech degree or a Ph.D. degree. The course curriculum relevance and its ability to make students industry-ready depends on whether the student was fit for the industry or not.

In our college, admission is only carried out with KEA allotment.
Placements: As far as I know, most people attend placement drives, but companies hire only 1-2 students. About 30-50% of students are placed. I think the average salary for a person from our college is around 3 to 8 lakh per annum. Insight Technologies, Craft Tech 360, etc., are the top companies. About 10% of students receive internships. The leading courses in demand are artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, machine design, and manufacturing science and Technology.
Infrastructure: The college provides excellent facilities for students, such as laboratories equipped with the latest technology and computer systems, as well as free Wi-Fi. The library is well maintained, with plenty of space to work on our projects. There are only boys' hostels near our college. If you want to join the girls' hostel, you need to travel 2-3 km from our college. Metro facilities are available and the nearest metro station is close to my college.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and there are knowledgeable persons. They are Ph.D. in that particular role. Official and strictly followed by the instruction provided by the register office. Come to the point of the semester exams on the college examinations are going well In my opinion it's not a difficult examination you are going to understand the concept is very easy for us don't want to create tension to crack exams. You just learn about the technology is a period technology as well.
Other: UVCE, Visvesvaraya College of Engineering, is one of the government colleges in Karnataka. It is the only government university college with affordable fees, making it accessible for middle-class students. It also boasts a good placement record. Additionally, it is conveniently located near the city center, close to the Vidhan Soudha, and offers many facilities for students studying at a government college. The government hostel provides a supportive environment, making it a great place to learn and earn a degree from this college.

I am satisfied with faculty and placements but dissatisfied with the infrastructure.
Placements: Three members were placed from our branch. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Textron is the top recruiting company for our branch. Only 8 members get the internship from our branch in the companies. The junior analyst was the top roles offered to our branch members.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is old and outdated. The food facility is better, and the hostel is near to the college. The library is old and not allow us to due to unwanted reasons. The Wi-Fi facility is available here. The quality of the food is good. Sports and games facility is not available here, but there is a huge place to play games.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were good and helpful. They were qualified to teach us. They are graduated from IIT. The teaching quantity is less than average. The course curriculum is relevant because our college is one of the top colleges which provide the best thermal engineers, and it prepares the students for the industry.
Other: Our college produces nice thermal engineers, so I choose this course. I wish to have a nice infrastructure in our college. Our college needs to improve the infrastructure in labs. Events organised in our college are better, and our college celebrates four fests.

I'm dissatisfied because of old faculty, good placement, old infrastructure and facilities etc.
Placements: There were 15 members in our course and in that 2 were placed and other 5 got internship in a reputed company and still other company need to be attained. The highest salary is 6Lakh per annum, the lowest salary is 4Lakh per annum and average salary is 4Lakh per annum were offered. Royal Enfield, Faurecia, Cognizant, Infosys and Panasonic. Junior engineer, junior designer and junior analyst were the top roles offered in our course. 6 Lacs per annum is the highest package, 4 Lacs is the lowest package and 4 Lacs is average package in our course. 15 percentage of students got internship in textron, 7 percent got internship in bosch, another 7 in volvo and another 15 percent got internship in pragati fibres.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi is free for students and the students get more advantage from this facility, the college had nice lab facility, where the instruments and machines in labs are old which were not updated to present digitisation. The library had not only syllabus oriented books, it also provide research papers and magazines of industry. The classroom are nice and renovated recently. The quality of the faculty members in our hostel is poor and the cost of living is also cheaper, the quality of food in the mess is good and there is no canteen in college. I didn't find any medical facilities, sports and games in our college.
Faculty: The teachers are not so helpful and they don't provide the good education which the students need but the teachers are knowledgeable, the quality of teaching is average. The course is in topmost than others, the students were ready to industry and this course is relevant to curriculum.
Other: I choose this course because it is top sub branch in Mechanical department and I love to do design the things whether it may be machines or parts. In my branch there were only few software were taught, I need to learn more about software. Our main obstacle is old faculty members of college who don't update to present Trend, Our faculty members must improve their teaching which meet the job description. Our college celebrates 4 fests, lots of seminar was held in college seminar hall, the students were exposed to corporate specialist in these seminars. The alumni of college provide scholarship to the financial lack students. The campus is in centre of City which is surrounded by cubban park, vidhana soudha, respective government offices, City Market and bus stand.

Satisfied with the teaching and placements, but very bad infrastructures.
Placements: The placements are fairly good, and every year, it's definitely more than 85%. The number of companies visiting will be growing up in the years to come, and the internships are available, in case, the students are not placed during the placement drives with this conversion possibility is high.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is really pathetic. It had very bad benches, desks, and seating. The classrooms are almost 100 years old without proper renovation. The toilets are not very clean. It had a bad library and poor canteen and no proper stationaries inside the campus. No proper facilities and amenities are present that are required by current day students.
Faculty: The faculty members are good, but usually, the research scholars would take the classes, but the portions won't always be completed. There are a few teachers who teach fabulously well to the students and are really friendly. However, the assignments, attending internals are compulsory but the corrections are fairly good and students friendly.
Other: The fests are good, and there will be two fests at least each year. One will be a technical fest, and the other would be the cultural fest.
