Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply. |

The opening and closing ranks for NLU Patiala 2024 for BA LLB ( Hone) is expected to be 537 and 1082, respectively for the CLAT Round 1 Seat Allotment results. In case of LLM, NLU Patiala opening and closing ranks for CLAT R1 is expected to be 239 and 877. The aforementioned cutoff is estimated from the last year ranks for General All India category for Vertical Reservation. NLU Patiala admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM courses is based on valid CLAT scores, followed by CLAT counselling. NLU Patiala Cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 5.

Candidates having subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in Class 12 are eligible for merit-based admission at Thapar University for BE course. Thapar University conducted online counselling 2023 for BE admissions based on merit in three rounds. The first round for BTech admissions was based on JEE Main scores whereas the second was based on merit in Class 12.
