Hostel fees for Engineering Hostels (I. e. Band Singh Bahadur, Mai Bhago Hostel & Bebe Nanki) is INR 920 per month whereas for other Hostels it is INR 420 per month. There are six residential Hostels for boys and seven residential Hostels for girls. The Hostels have all modern amenities for comfortable living for 4000 students. The hostels are given on a merit basis only. The students of low-income groups can be given free accommodation in the University Hostels. Residents of a hostel, where a cooperative mess is being run shall have to pay INR 5000 in advance as a mess bill. This amount is refundable/adjustable as and when the student leaves the hostel or the mess is closed permanently.

Good and supportive staff with best infrastructure.
Placements: The average percentage of every student is above 60 percent and each and every student is placed by the top department of college. The minimum package of the company that visited for my batch is 3 lakh and the highest package is 8 lpa. And the top companies include ibm, bebo and many more.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college hostel is very good and environment and food is very hygienic. There is also a good facility of Wi-Fi connection and well-equipped library for students. Medical facility is available 24 hours with best team and sport gallery is also there.
Faculty: All the teaching staff is well educated and supportive kind in nature. Personal development classes are also provided to students so that they cannot find the difficulty in any industry. Semester exams are of moderate level to check the level of students so that they can focus on weak students.

Our college has a good infrastructure, and it is good for day scholars.
Placements: Placements are very rare at our college, especially in our course. Only 1-2% of the students got placed on their own by applying to different companies. There was no top recruiting company. Around 30% of the students got internships from our course in web designing and other courses.
Infrastructure: Campus is highly demarcated with labs, a Wi-Fi system, and good infrastructure. For the day scholars, a bus facility is available. The sports ground was very good having synthetic mats. On-campus, there is a canteen providing hygienic food. The hostel building is very nice and had facilities like air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly skilled in their respective particular fields. The course is very relevant, and in the last semester, students have to perform internships with companies or different institutes. Semesters are not much difficult.
Other: I opted for this course to become a web designer and software developer. The artificial intelligence paper was my favorite and I learned a lot. Teachers should focus on practical work that I wish would be better. From time to time, fest and seminars are organised by campus.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of placements.
Placements: The placements are very disappointing for the students. Only 3 out of 120 students were placed. Only two or three companies visited the college for the placement drive. The highest salary is offered by Infosys, which is 3.25 LPA. They offered software engineer role. No one got internships from the college. There is no placement cell for MCA department. The placement cell is only for the B.Tech students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The library has enough old edition books, but the new edition books are not available at all. The classrooms and labs are good. The quality of food available in the canteen is good. The hostel rooms are also good. I didn't face any issues regarding the infrastructure.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and kind-hearted. They are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, but they just read the powerpoint presentation. Powerpoint presentation method is used to teach the students. I didn't get the industry exposure. The course is useful. They provide theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge.
Other: Events are awesome, and the food is good. The campus crowd is tedious. Surroundings are not good, and the scholarship provided is good.

Punjabi University (The heart for punjabies).
Placements: I had a great experience with the department of computer science (Punjabi University Patiala). I was placed in a well-known company after completion of masters in computer science. The best and experienced staff members are there to provide you best education.
Infrastructure: A newly built building is available with AC rooms for students. The Wi-Fi facility and number of computers are available in the computer lab. All the books are available in the library for students. The department is near UCOE, and a shopping complex is available in the basement. The food provided there is of good quality.
Faculty: Only the morning session is available for MCA, but M.Tech part-time course is available. The professor is well-experienced and helpful. They have vast knowledge in computer science field. The curriculum of the course is in line and suitable for students.
Other: The campus is amazing, and I love to be here.
