The placements at MITSOB are very good. In my senior batch, almost 85-90% students got placed. The highest salary offered was 6.5 Lacs per annum by Aditya Birla and the lowest salary was 3 Lacs offered by CatenOn. The average salary here is 4.5 Lacs. Last year, companies like Aditya Birla, CatenOn, Eaton, Xebec Communications, Tech Mahindra, Tata Technologies, CCD, Balaji Telefilms had visited the college campus for placements. The college is equipped with all the latest facilities like Wi-Fi, computer labs, projectors in classrooms, seminar hall. It is a 7-floor building equipped with 3 lifts for the convenience of the students and faculty. There are big classrooms so that students are very comfortable.

Students even at undergraduate level, get to participate in ongoing research and technology development and opportunity unprecedented in India. The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad is very famous for its placement whether it is CSE or it is IT or ECE. It came in the rankings of the highest and average package provided by the college in the placement. Average package given by the companies in placement is from Rs 7 Lacs to Rs 9 Lacs for ECE branch. There are many famous companies that come for the placement. Most of the students as told above go for the research by doing their Masters in their respective branches.

Everyone recommended me this college, and said this university focus on overall development and personality. Dehradun has excellent weather and an awesome city to be explored along with nearby hill beauty. It is economic to study here including food and lodging. Fee Structure and Facilities:
Yes, the fee structure is feasible for all courses I suppose, because it is a state government university and so expenses cut short automatically. Courses are good, plus affordable. In the language course, many multinational companies come and provide good placement with good packages. Placement Wing:
This field is a major drawback of this place because here students are not accorded any placements apart from language department students. None job opportunities for MBA or M.Sc. Students. Hopefully, in the coming time, they will do better in such areas. Hostel Facilities:
Hostel place is the best part of the university. For senior students, single seater rooms are available and for Bachelors two-seater. Apart from this, there is a gym and the center area for games like badminton. Mess food is good and quite better than other universities. They serve sweets alternatively.
