As you said you're weak in coding, so you should work hard and consistently to strengthen your skills on it. Many of the students doesn't usually know more regarding coding culture but once they find it familiar, they start developing their skills on it. However, if you are getting opportunities to get a better option for pursuing the course, you should go for it but if you're interested about pursuing your career in ECE you should definitely go with coding as it has a vast exposure to the tech field.
