Students who belong to the OBC AI quota need to attain a rank lower than 11329 in the first round to be qualified for admission. The IIIT Bhopal CSE cutoff 2026 was only released till round 1. So, a rank lower than 10000 is considered to be a safe rank. 

Please note that subsequent rounds will have more lenient cutoffs.

The maximum cutoff rank required in 2026 for admission to BTech CSE was 41599 at IIIT Bhagalpur in round 1 for General AI quota students. A cutoff rank lower than the one mentioned here is considered to be a safe rank for CSE admission at this institute.

The cutoff rank varies for different categories. Check here the maximum cutoff required in each category for BTech CSE in the first round.

IIT Dharwad has released its cutoff result based on the JEE Mains exam 2026. For candidates belonging to the General AI category, BTech CSE cutoff 2026 was 36789 according to the first round cutoff ranks. Please refer to the table below to know the first round closing cutoff ranks for admission to CSE for various All India categories.

As per the table below, the PWD All India category had the hardest competition for admission to the CSE branch.

You should target a rank between 282 and 874 if you want admission to the CSE and Electrical branch in the first round. The IIT Hyderabad JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 was released for the first round, wherein CSE had the closing rank of 282. B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering had the closing rank of 874.

Please note that other categories, round, etc, will have different cutoffs.

The maximum rank needed by the General AI category students was 3994 in the first round as per the IIT Dhanbad CSE cutoff 2026. Hence, students with this rank could get admission. 

The IIT Dhanbad JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for admission to the BTech course and its various specialisations. The cutoff was out for different AI quota categories. Check the list below to know the maximum rank for other categories.

Yes, there has been a fall in the JEE Advanced cutoff rank for CSE at IIT Kharagpur over the past three years. As per the IIT Kharagpur CSE cutoff 2026 for the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff was 509. In 2025 and 2024, the cutoffs for the same round were 450 and 414, respectively. The higher the rank, the lower the competition. For other categories, the scenario might be different.

Computer Science and Engineering admission at GITAM University is based on candidates' performance in the KCET entrance exam. As per the KCET cutoff 2024, the last round closing rank for CSE was 64268 for the General AI category students. So, if you belong to the unreserved category, yes, the possibility is there that you will get a call from GITAM University with a rank of 60,000 in the KCET entrance exam. IIIT Bangalore CSE cutoff 2026 for the General AI category was 4969 in the third round. Hence, students with the rank of at least 4969 or lower can take admission at this institute for CSE branch.

In 2025, the highest rank accepted was 6942. For the same category, the cutoff for the CSE branch was 4149 in 2024. For more information, check this page.

CHARUSAT GUJCET cutoff 2025 was released for admission to the various Home State quota categories for the BTech program. 

For the General HS category, the overall CSE cutoff ranged from 2600 to 2491. On the other hand, for the OBC category, the cutoff varied from 4501 to 4819. To know the cutoff range for other categories, see the list below:

NIT Calicut JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. Duirng the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 4088 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 1298.
