This concern is common among most engineering students: getting placed after engineering. And computer Science placements at Chandigarh University are indeed reputed for the huge number of recruiters that come to campus. As a matter of fact, this year's placement season registered over 3750 selections for engineers. And a healthy portion of this number came from CSE and IT. Placement doesn't solely depend on your academic CGPA. It is about your skills you have developed and how well it is beneficial for yhe companies. But you will have to maintain a gpa of atleast 7.5 to appear for on campus interviews of good companies.

The IEM Kolkata CSE average package has not been disclosed as of now. However, the overall median package for BTech and M.Tech is out. From 2021 to 2023, year-on-year growth was recorded in the BTech and M.Tech median packages. The table below mentions the past three years placement package trends for Engineering courses:

The Mysore University CSE average package other placement details have not been released as of now. However, the median package for UG (4-year) courses is out. During 2023 placements, the median package for UG (4-year) courses stood at INR 7.50 LPA, which was 25% higher than the amount offered in 2022. The table below depicts the placement package details:
