If you are technically oriented and want to specialize, you may opt for M.Tech after appearing in GATE exam before taking a job. If your programming skills are poor and you are not technically oriented you may opt for MBA to change your career to generic management stream.

If you are good in programming and technically oriented then go for MCA to become a software engineer else opt for MBA. An MBA graduate's starting salary is better but in the long run, both good MCA and MBA graduates get similar salary packages. Thank you.

B.Sc. IT has little theoretical and maths inclination / emphasis therefore, BCA is little better option after 12th commerce students. However, you must choose among BCA and B.Sc. IT on criteria of quality of academics and placement records over degree. Thank you.

BCA at IGNOU is 10+2 cleared. IGNOU website is not clear on acceptance of Diploma in Computer Technology as equivalent to 10+2. Therefore, you may seek clarification from IGNOU on subject.
