1. Refer to websites such as Internshala, Linkedin, Naukri, Indeed, letsintern, twenty19. Register your profile and track regularly for openings.
2. Prefer start-ups more than bigger companies because in an internship, the idea is to stretch and learn as much as possible. Post the internship, get a Linkedin recommendation from a manager or a letter of recommendation and certificate of appreciation/completion of sorts. Request for it. Don't be hesitant. It is very helpful.
3. Basic skills to know ( ould have more too, this is just example): HTML, Javascript, web designing and development.

Cyber security field is going to be a goldmine for jobs in India. There are too many threats existing and too few professionals to handle them. Everything is on computer these days, so every organisation will need a cyber protector. I would definitely recommend you enter in this field if you are interested. It's difficult to rejoin after a gap of almost 7 years as the maximum duration to complete any UG course is 7 years from the year of commencement of the course. You might have started the course in 2009 so 7 years means maximum by 2016.
