Job prospects are available in various areas like programming, networking, system administration etc. There are many companies which specialize in these areas like WIPRO, TCS etc. But the scope is not limited to the IT companies. Most organizations whether big or small nowadays will have requirements in the IT sections. These include Banking sector, Telecommunication sector, Dairy Sector etc. The opportunities available after completion of Masters course(MCA) is higher. On gaining experience they can reach higher positions in their career.

There is no MCA degree abroad, this is awarded by Indian universities only. You will find similar degrees which would be termed as MS or PG Diploma, etc. Canada is very competitive, good for you if you don't have backlogs. Higher ranked universities require at least 75%.
