Yes, Heramba Chandra College admits students with Common University Entrance Test CUET. The college will be part of this centrally administered process for the entry into its undergraduate courses run under streams of arts as well as commerce. Candidature would be determined depending upon class 12 qualifying examination marks and scores received in CUET. Admission norms and information on processes regarding CUET would remain available at the official site of the college.

The Common University Entrance Test will no longer hold. The CUET is the entrance examination for admission into the undergraduate and postgraduate programs offered at the participating universities in India held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

Many government colleges in Uttar Pradesh, such as Lucknow and Varanasi, fall under CUET. It includes Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, and Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow, as some of the institutions that score CUET for admission.

With a CUET score of 460-470 out of 850 for the B.Sc. Math group, your prospects of getting into the main campus of Allahabad University (AU) are dependent on the annual cut-off for your category. The cut-off is usually greater for students in the general category, although it may be lower for students in the reserved categories. Girls' hostel admission is competitive and given preference to main campus students who demonstrate greater merit. Keep abreast of the counseling process at AU.

Yes, it will be possible to get admissions into various courses by selecting only Biology and the General Test under CUET. The reason is that most of the universities offer programs in the areas of B.Sc in Biological Sciences, Environmental Science, or in any other related discipline which accepts Biology as a subject. Other courses that may not be strictly science-based courses can also be qualified through the General Test. Of course, the particular courses which will be offered are only determined by participating universities and criteria for eligibility.
