With a CUET UG score of 102 (approx. 20–25 percentile), gaining admission to Maharashtra colleges is extremely limited:

Mumbai University and most Maharashtra colleges rely on MH-CET or board marks, not CUET for UG entry .

A few private universities in Maharashtra (e.g. Somaiya Vidyavihar, Symbiosis Skills & Professional University, MGAHV/Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University) accept low CUET scores for less competitive programmes—but B.Tech or BBA placements still require higher CUET.

The best option for Mass Communication with good placements and CUET UG admission is Delhi University, particularly 'Lady Shri Ram College for Women, ' 'Indraprastha College for Women, ' and 'Delhi School of Journalism' (source, ). The other strong options are Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), both having great recruiters and alumni (source ).

All these colleges provide great teachers, industry exposure, and good placement records for Mass Communication.

Yes, getting admission into JNU with 70 score is possible. The cutoff was released for different categories of the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 33.8 to 74.4. Among the OBC AI category candidates, the range of cutoff was between 29.16 and 69.64. With this cutoff range, it is definitely possible to get admission to the college.

To get admission in B.Tech at CIC, Delhi University, you need to appear for CUET UG and apply through the DU CSAS portal. The CUET cutoff is around 550/600 for general category. The course fee is about INR 10,000 per year.
