Yes, since you are getting a Diploma from VJTI,

  • you can go for direct admission into 2nd year for B.E. or B.Tech at MSU Baroda under their lateral entry scheme.
  • They provide lateral entry for Diploma holders of relevant branches into the second year if you meet eligibility criteria, usually around a minimum of 45% - 60% marks in your diploma.
  • The admission process takes place on their official admission portal during the dates for lateral entry admission.

So if you are pretty confident of your stream and if your marks are above cutoff then you can seamlessly transition from VJTI Diploma to MSU Baroda degree without having to start over!

Yes, candidates can apply for GATE 2026 even if they have backlog, as long as you are in the final year or have completed your degree. GATE does not disqualify candidates with backlogs. However, candidates must clear their backlogs before taking M.Tech admission or getting into PSU. However, during the counselling or recruitment process, it can hamper in the selection process.

Yes, candidates having a foreign degree can also apply for GATE. In such cases, the applicant must be in their final year (bachelor's degree) or relevant fields. It is advised to go through the GATE eligibility criteria and conditions before filling the application form.

NOTE: Applicants must note that there will be no international exam centres for the examination. Candidates need to travel to India in order to attempt the GATE exam.

Indeed, there is a Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc.) in Animation and VFX course offered at ZICA (Zee Institute of Creative Art) Pune and this is a 3 year course affiliated to a famous University in Pune. Although their Degree program can also be said to have shorter (Certificate level) courses known as their Professional Programs, the accreditation aspect is on a university level. This will imply that students will have a degree in a university which affiliated to the institution when taking up their B.Voc. in Animation & VFX thus adding more academic value to their specialized education.

Rejoining a B.Sc (Hons) Physics degree at Delhi University after leaving in 2018 would be extremely challenging, if not impossible, to continue from where you left off. DU usually has strict regulations regarding discontinuation and re-admission; a gap of several years typically means you cannot simply "continue" the old degree. Your best course of action would be to contact the Registrar's office or the specific Physics department at your former college/university to inquire about any possible re-admission policies or alternatives like fresh admission.

When it comes to a good degree in Dietetics and Nutrition in Punjab, Chandigarh Group of colleges (CGC), Landran is usually recommended much due to its B.Sc. (Honours) in Nutrition and Dietetics degree, which offers good placements and orders its curriculum to practice. Lovely Professional University (LPU), Jalandhar and Chandigarh University (CU), provide good B.Sc. course in Nutrition & Dietetics with complete facilities and job perspectives as well. Also, there are relevant programs, accentuated with a flavor of research which are provided in Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) Ludhiana.
